Sending quarterly reports via e-mail? |
|
Is it still acceptable for us to send quarterly reports via e-mail?
If so, to which e-mail address do we send them?
Thank you.

Yes absolutely! I am kind of nervous to put this email address up for spam reasons (I check the emailed quarterly reports). So I am putting it up in a way that the web crawlers won't get it, soo here goes: it is using "qreports" with the @kolbe.org domain name.
Reports must be sent in PDF, jpeg, gif, or doc formats. Please do not send wps format as we do not have the capability to read these. Thanks!

Does "wps format" mean Word? i.e. Microsoft Word?

wps is word perfect. I believe it is the predecessor to microsoft word, but very few computers have that any more. Microsoft word is .doc format.
I should add that I recently did some reports that someone sent to me as a Microsoft Document Imaging files (.mdi format). This was very easy to read for me and the parent told me that it was a very convenient way to assemble the materials together. I believe the file was about 2 MB and had a total of 15 pages. I bet you could zip this too though if your sample work started to get very long.

This is GREAT news. I won't have to stand in line at the Post Office then.

how much to send |
|
I am trying to e-mail my quarterly report to save paper, ink and money. I however cannot see how to send all 30 something pages without sending each page individually. I use a Macbook but i do have Microsoft word and Adobe acrobat. I'm sure once I figure it out it will be easy but so far it has made me one semester behind in reporting. Do I need to send all of her tests or would the graded front page be enough. Please help I need step by step instructions......Patti

Hi Patti-
I had one mom last year who imbedded images into a microsoft word document. Go to Insert--> Picture then click on From File. You'll browse for the image and it will pop in! Then you can put at least one subject together. Does your email not allow you to attach more than one file at a time? One way around that is to figure out the "pop" settings and use Outlook to check your email. Just some ideas...

Do I need to include test or just answers? |
|
I scanned and emailed my son's work. I scanned the Kolbe test as well as my son's answers which were on a separate piece of paper. This year I would like to know if I need to scan the test or just answers? Thank you.

His answers are just fine as long as it is labeled properly with the subject and exam #.
